  • Schedule for Last Day of School - June 29
    All Halton District School Board elementary schools will be dismissed 90 minutes early on June 29.  Here is the schedule for our day:

    8:45 Morning Entry
    8:45 - 9:20 Period 1
    9:20 - 9:55 Period 2
    NOTE:  Grades 7 & 8 Awards Assembly will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Auditorium
    9:55 - 10:15 - Snack Time
    10:15 - 10:35 - Outdoor Recess
    10:35 - 11:10 - Period 3
    11:10 - 11:45 - Period 4
    NOTE:  The Awards Assembly for primary and junior students will begin at 10:40 a.m. in the Auditorium
    11:45 - 12:05 - Lunch Time
    12:05 - 12:35 - Outdoor Recess
    12:35 - 1:10 - Period 5
    1:10 - 1:45 - Period 6
    DISMISSAL AT 1:45
    Supervision ends at 2:00

    Halton Student Transportation Service (HSTS) has posted a  bus stop calculator on their webpage for parents to use to calculate their child's bus stop times.

  • Congratulations on a Job Well Done!!!!

    I would like to sincerely thank our Rolling Meadows Community for all their support this year. Your participation in school activities has made a difference!!  With your help, we have been able to provide the school music program with $5000.00 for the purchase of instruments: flutes, clarinets, drums, a tuba, plus new instrument cases.  We have also been able to provide $1000.00 for technology; specifically Chromebooks. In addition, our Indigo Night generated $800.00 to be used for the purchase of books for our school library. What a great year!!! 

    A special thanks to our Rolling Meadows School Council and our parent volunteers.  As a school community, we cannot thank you enough for your hard work and many contributions!

    Please consider coming out and joining School Council next year.  It is a great way to get to know the school and other parents while making a difference for our Rolling Meadows Community.

  • The NEW HDSB App Available Now!
    The Halton District School Board has launched a Mobile App for parents/guardians, staff and students! Report absences, get school news, calendars, social media and more all in one place. The app consolidates important information from schools and the Halton District School Board into one easy-to-access location. The free app is available for download on the App Store and Google Play (search “Halton District School Board” or “HDSB”).

  • Head Lice (Pediculosis)
    Please check your child's head for head lice regularly.  If there is a suspicion of head lice being present in the school, a health screening check is requested.  A student who has head lice is excluded from school until they are treated.  The student is not permitted to return to school until they receive a form from We Care Home Health Services (905-507-6562), a medical practitioner, or a registered lice screening agency employee with a minimum designation of personal service worker certification.  This form must be brought back to the school office before the student can return to class.

  • STUDENT MEDICATION - NEW FORMS - DOCTOR'S SIGNATURE REQUIRED
    Halton District School Board has changed the permission form that is required for schools to be able to administer prescription drugs to students during the school day.  Please ensure that if your child requires medication to be administered during the school day (e.g., epi-pen, asthma inhaler, oral medications, etc.) that you and your child's doctor have completed this new form prior to the start of school in September.  If medication is prescribed throughout the school year, your child's doctor must complete their section of this form so please take it to the appointment with you.
    There is also a new form for students to self-administer medication while at school or at a school sponsored event.
    The school will be unable to accept any prescription medications from parents or students without the appropriate completed form.

    REMINDER:  Board staff will not administer non-prescription medication to a student.

    The No Child Without program provides free Medic Alert bracelets for children.  They have updated their website, so that the families can go directly to it and obtain enrollment information.  Visit the following link:https://www.medicalert.ca/no-child-without/ncw-enrollment-info. Just a reminder that the bar code and pin combination are uniquely linked to our school.
